Sunday Worship 10 AM
Deck the Halls!
Join us Saturday, November 30th at 10 AM to decorate the sanctuary for the Advent season. Many hands make for light work, so join us for an hour or two to begin this joyous time. Coffee and donuts will be provided.

The Christmas Story FOR ALL AGES in music, craft, and scripture.
Come to Cup of Justice in the Wesley Room for lunch and stay for an inter-generational family fun experience.
Stress Management in this Holy Time Sunday, December 8th
Right after Cup of Justice a representative of Horizon will be on hand to offer lead us in a seminar on wholeness and health.
Adult Sunday School Sunday mornings at 9 AM

Blue Christmas Worship Sunday, December 15th at 5 PM
Advent & Christmas are filled with wonder and joy, but they can also be a time of trials, sorrow, and grief. As we approach the longest night of the year, come and lay your burden before the Lord in a meditative time of worship, prayer and healing.
Christmas Caroling Sunday, December 22rd, 4 PM
Join the Confirmation Class as we carol and bring poinsettias to our senior adults.
Christmas Eve Prelude Concert
Our Christmas Eve Prelude Concert will once again be prior to the 11:00 pm Christmas Eve Service in the sanctuary. This will be a time for soloists and ensembles to present musical offerings to God’s glory. If you, or someone you know, would like to sing or play an instrument during this time, please see Grace Pugh Hubbard or contact the church office.
Christmas Eve Worship
7:00 p.m. worship will be a family-oriented, participatory worship experience.
We will share Holy Communion and have special music led by members of our Praise Band.
11:00 p.m. worship will be a Service of Lessons and Carols, with candlelight Communion, choral and hand bell music.
A prelude concert will begin at 10:30 p.m. with soloists and ensembles offering glory to God. If you or someone you know, would like to sing or play an instrument during this time, please see Grace Pugh Hubbard or contact the church office.
Christmas Dinner Wednesday, December 25th at 4 PM

This year we will again host a Christmas dinner in the Fellowship Hall for the Park Church family and those in our community. We will be hosting a number of families referred by Human Services of Bloomfield.
You can make a reservation or sign up to help serve, set up/clean up, or cook by calling the church.
A Trip to the Theater! Sunday, December 29th
The Confirmation Class invites you to join them in seeing a performance of C.S. Lewis, The Great Divorce. We will leave after worship and return around 6 PM. Ticket prices are $60 for the ticket AND the chartered bus. Seats are limited so contact the church office to make your reservation ASAP!

As you prepare for your celebration of the birth of Jesus -- God’s salvation to humankind -- please recognize the following opportunities to share with others the resources God has given you.
The Giving Tree
The Giving Tree is located in the Narthex. On the tree you will find cards with information of children within our community who are in need this Christmas.

Please pick a card and follow the instructions. The children are selected in coordination with Bloomfield Human Services.
Ladles of Love
Sunday, December 8th is our next meal for the Community. Mark your calendar and to be part of the team by helping to set up, serve, or clean up!
NJ Food Bank Trip Saturday, December 7th 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Join us as we assist the food insecure of our region sorting and packing at the Hillside facility.
Advent Music
Chancel Choir Rehearsals
The Chancel Choir rehearses at 7:00 pm every Sunday evening in the sanctuary. We are working with the Handbell Choir on anthems to be sung and rung throughout Advent and on Christimas Eve. Sanctuary Orchestra
Sanctuary Orchestra will lead music in worship on December 8th and on Christmas Eve during the 11:00 pm worship service. We will rehearse Sunday nights at 6:00 pm on December 1 & 15. If you play an orchestral instrument and would like to join us, please see Grace Pugh Hubbard, Phyllis King, or Bill Sullivan.
Praise Band
Praise Band will play in worship on December 15 and on Christmas Eve at the 7:00 pm service. We every Thursday night at 8 pm, November 29, December 6, 13, & 20. If you’d like to join in, please see Odalie Curtis or Grace Pugh Hubbard.
